Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- As this tyre performs optimally in dry conditions, it is very efficient on hardpack gravel and asphalt.
- The transition between the smooth tread centre and the side studs is seamless, contributing to predictable steering behaviour.
- With its smooth tread centre, the tyre scores very well on rolling resistance.
- The scaly side knobs provide cornering grip, improving control on technical sections.
- As the tyre is not suitable for more aggressive terrain, it is less versatile.

The Vittoria Terreno T10 Hardpack tyre excels on hard surfaces and dry trails. While the smooth centre tread minimises rolling resistance, the scaly side studs offer extra grip when cornering. This tubeless-ready tyre is built for speed, control and confidence in dry conditions.
The Terreno T10 uses a new 100 TPI nylon carcass, which provides a strong and durable foundation that maintains a smooth ride feel even on rougher road surfaces and during long rides, keeping comfort and performance perfectly balanced.
With the T10 to T90 tyres, Vittoria has added more clarity to its tyre range. T0 refers to the very lightest gravel, where the terrain is asphalt-like. T100 refers to terrain that can almost not be ridden on a gravel bike, and requires a mountain bike instead. So, the T-number series indicates the type of gravel for which the tyres are suitable.

Material and construction
The Terreno T10 Hardpack is built with tubeless-ready construction and a tread inspired by the Vittoria Corsa. The central section is almost smooth and ensures minimal rolling resistance on hard surfaces such as asphalt or firm gravel. The slightly profiled scaly sides offer extra stability and grip when cornering or braking, improving ride comfort and control.
Technical finish and handling
This gravel tyre stands out for its thoughtful tread design, optimally combining speed and grip. The smooth centre offers maximum efficiency on asphalt and hardpack gravel, while the subtle side scales provide support in dynamic situations. The tubeless-ready finish ensures lower rolling resistance and the ability to ride with lower tyre pressure, benefiting both comfort and traction.

The Terreno T10 Hardpack is designed for gravel bikes compatible with a tubeless setup. Its tubeless-ready construction allows for use without an inner tube, for which a suitable tubeless rim and latex fluid are required. This tyre is optimised for dry conditions on hard surfaces including asphalt, gravel and loose sand. It can be used with standard gravel wheel sizes and is easy to mount with appropriate tyre pressure.

5 / 5
quality tyre with good ride
- Erwin 23 May 2026
Great tyres with fine damping and rolling resistance. Tip: the tyre is very hard to fit on the rim when it is cold, so put it in the sun or put a hair dryer on it.
Pros & Cons
High-quality carcass
Looks good on the bike
Low rolling resistance
Sturdy, flexible tyre
Goes very tight around the wheel ( heating helps)

4 / 5
Fine robust tyre for when the asphalt is not good and you grab the occasional patch of gravel.
- Hein 19 May 2026
For a trip abroad with 25% gravel used as a rear tyre. I wouldn't use it in front because you can slip.
Pros & Cons
Easy to inflate tubeless
Low rolling resistance
Not compatible with wet forest paths
Not very light in terms of weight
